Abortion and Breast Cancer

Many studies have shown a direct link between the number of abortions a woman has and the likelihood that she will develop breast cancer later in life. Abortion halts the natural cellular changes in a woman's breasts that occur during pregnancy, thus rendering a woman more suceptible to breast cancer.

Georgette shares her journey from hurt to healing after abortion with powerful stories, statistics, and information.

While the numbers of patients in this long-term Stanford University study are small, the results are striking.

Many of you have contacted  AFL wanting clarification concerning Planned Parenthood’s funding, the services they provide in relation to abortion, and their political activity. We gladly provided the facts and decided it may be helpful to share the information here as well.

Georgette came up with ten reasons why abortion is bad for women and decided it would be good to share them with you, so you too can help people understand that in addition to the baby dying in an abortion, women also suffer.

October is breast cancer awareness month and we want you to know about the latest study which found that a woman who has an abortion faces a 193% increased risk of breast cancer. Komen for the Cure is "fighting to stop breast cancer," but gave $7.5 million to the Planned Parenthood abortion business in 2009.

"Today begins the inexorable presentation of the scientific literature on the abortion/breast cancer link," Dr. Gerald Nadal writes.

The National Cancer Institute (NCI) workshop in 2003 that persuaded women that it was “well established” that “abortion is not associated with increased breast cancer risk,” has reversed her position and now admits that abortion and oral contraceptives raise breast cancer risks.

Prayer For Life

PRAYER FOR LIFE Lord God, thank you for creating human life in your image. Thank you for my life and the lives of those I love. Thank you for teaching us through Scripture the value you place on life. Help me to uphold the sanctity of life in my church and community. Give me the strength to stand up to those forces
that seek to destroy the lives of those most vulnerable,
the unborn, the infirm and the elderly. Today I commit myself never to be silent, never to be passive, never to be forgetful of respecting life. I commit myself to protecting and defending the sacredness of life
according to Your will, through Christ our Lord.
Amen.   Anglicans for Life 405 Frederick Avenue Sewickley, PA  15143
