Planned Parenthood is under congressional investigation for possible misuse of taxpayer funds.
Seven former Planned Parenthood employees have written a letter to a congressman whose committee is conducting an investigation of the Planned Parenthood abortion business and they see the probe is definitely needed.
The seven former employees of affiliates of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, which is under congressional investigation for possible misuse of taxpayer funds, sent a letter to Chairman Fred Upton, a pro-life Michigan Republican, and Ranking Member Henry Waxman, a pro-abortion California Democrat. The two are the top members from each party on the House Energy and Commerce Committee and the letter encourages them and subcommittee chair Rep. Cliff Stearns, a Florida Republican who is the primary lawmaker behind the investigation, to move ahead with their investigation.
In the letter, at least one of the seven is an eyewitness to Planned Parenthood improperly using federal money for abortion, violating state law by not notifying the parent of a minor prior to an abortion, and/or failing to detect and report instances where a girl or woman is brought in under duress or coercion for an abortion, including cases of human trafficking and rape.
