In the last few weeks LifeNews.com has reported a number of ‘incidents’ concerning the health and well-being of women being treated at abortion clinics.
Starting in Olympia, Washington, an ambulance was called to take a woman away. It is believed that she was the victim of a botched abortion.
A former patient of the San Diego Planned Parenthood has filed a lawsuit against the clinic for allegations that her cervical cancer was misdiagnosed for over a year due to negligence.
In Omaha, Nebraska, a woman filed a suit against Planned Parenthood in August alleging that abortionist Meryl Severson so severly botched her abortion that she required an emergency hysterectomy to save her life.
Another lawsuit against the same clinic owners was filed in mid-June by a mother of a 21-year-old, who died of toxic shock syndrome after having an abortion.
Some clinics around the country have started using Digoxin (a drug to treat various heart conditions) to kill the unborn baby prior to performing a partial-birth abortion procedure. Doing the procedure in this order allows the doctor to in essence get around the banned procedure because the baby is dead prior to the partial delivery. Centers in Boston, Detroit, and San Francisco are using Digoxin. The mother’s health can be at risk during the procedure if the Digoxin is accidentally injected into the mother instead of the baby.
