Planned Parenthood Federation released its latest Annual Report for 2009-2010.
The Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) released its latest Annual Report for 2009-2010. The report provided the following data:
PPFA had a total budget of $1.04 billion and an excess of revenue over expenses of 18.5 million dollars — a net profit. The new report also reveals 46 percent of the total PPFA budget comes from taxpayer dollars in the form of government funding; $1.3 million per day.
By comparing PP’s abortion income with its clinic income, we get a much more accurate picture of Planned Parenthood’s business model. In 2010, Planned Parenthood’s abortion income was 51.5 percent of its clinic income.
PP reports operating 840 facilities in 2010; January 2011, this number decreased to 785 centers.
The new document the abortion organization posted shows Planned Parenthood did 329,445 abortions in 2010 while it provided “prenatal services” to approximately 5,398 women and referred only 841 women to adoption agencies (977 in 2009).
