Once our children become pre-teens, teenagers or young adults, parenting them requires herculean faith, fortitude and humor in order for both them and us to survive.
Anglicans for Life doesn’t pretend to have all the answers needed to raise perfect kids, but we do want you to benefit from all the links, resources, data, information and connections we have made over the years in seeking to help our kids as well as others. Below are different categories containing stuff we think you’ll find helpful for various circumstances you might find yourself or your teens facing.
It is important to recognize two important truths as parents – first, God the Father created each of our children for His purposes and glory, therefore he knows them and understands their needs better than we do, and we need His help to raise them. And second, the earlier we seek to instill the basic concepts of; a love for God, respect for life, and a value of who they are as children of God, the easier it is for these truths to become part of their DNA when they face challenges later in life.
